Why Me?

Mark Kramer will again be back to CUC this Sunday and he will be teaching a lesson on Job titled “Why Me?”. The verses he will reference are JOB 2:10, 2:13, 36:15, 38:2 and 42:3. Some information about Mark: He and his wife Ellen have been married 45 years. (He says: We got married when we were 12😊we have 3 daughters, 3 sons-in-law whom we actually like and 5 grandchildren whom we love! ). He is a Stephen Minister, an active member of the Bereans Sunday school class, and he loves to teach!

Zoom

We continue to have class both in the classroom and on Zoom. We have Zoom for those of CUC who prefer to stay at home or who are away from home. CUC is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting:

Topic: CUC Zoom Meeting – April 21, 2024

Time: 9:30 AM Eastern time

https://us02web.zoom.us/j/9712823041

Meeting ID: 971 282 3041

Helpful hints: 1. Just before class starts, mute your microphone to prevent noise from your household from reaching the classroom. 2. Log in between 9:25 and 9:40 so that the Tech Team has time to test the set up and load lesson materials.

Note from the Tech Team to Zoomers:

During last Sunday’s CUC class, the Zoom signal dropped three times. We believe that was due to limitations of the RUMC wi-fi network we were using. Please bear with us as we pursue a more stable connection.

Jason Scott writes: I pray you all had a great Sunday this past week. I apologize for the Wi-Fi inconvenience Sunday morning. We didn’t know there was an issue until it was too late to do anything about it. For those who found a way around the issue, KUDOS to you for your ingenuity.

Joyce Michno was back to CUC this past Sunday and expresses her appreciation and thanks for the cards, meals, and prayers sent her way following recent fall.

Dear CUC Class, Within hours of cardiac tests at Emory following a routine physical by my G.P., Craig was asking for CUC prayers for me and for the by-pass surgery that was about to take place.  That was 4 weeks ago today, March 22.  Thank you for asking for healing, protection, and skilled doctors.  He answered our prayers.  I was released on Good Friday and well enough to be in church on Easter morning to hear the choir sing their hearts!  We thank each of you for the abundance of cards, notes, messages, phone calls, prayers and well wishes.  We are feeling very loved and blessed. Katherine Simons
