CUC Sunday School Class
Simon, Do you See this Woman?
Our own Garlinn Story will be sharing chapter 2 of Adam Hamilton’s book Luke with us this Sunday. The title of the lesson is “Simon, Do You See This Woman?” The Bible verse for the lesson is Luke 7:36-39.
“One of the Pharisees invited Jesus to eat with him. After he entered the Pharisee’s house, he took his place at the table. Meanwhile, a woman from the city, a sinner, discovered that Jesus was dining in the Pharisee’s house. She brought perfumed oil in a vase made of alabaster. Standing behind him and crying, she began to wet his feet with her tears. She wiped them with her hair, kissed them, and poured the oil on them. When the Pharisees who had invited Jesus saw what was happening, he said to himself, If this man were a prophet, he would know what kind of woman is touching him. He would know that she is a sinner.”

Scouting for Food
Every Sunday in February, members of Boy Scout Troops 431 & 432 and Cub Scout Pack 845 will be available outside of the Sanctuary building to collect your canned foods and deliver to the food pantry of North Fulton Community Charities.
Used Computers Needed
The church is looking for used computers to use at Assisted Living Homes to show the RUMC worship services. Jane Connell is trying to find computers. There is a need for old, but working laptops. We have one that works but has Windows 7 on it, but that will work for the ability to connect to RUMC website. Our computer gurus at RUMC (Scott and Sterling) will reset to factory settings so that ALL personal data will be removed. THANK YOU!
Neighborhood Care Groups
Don’t forget to make a call or a text or visit this week to someone in your CUC Neighborhood Care Group!
