Continue To Support our Children’s Ministry!

Nancy Spence writes: The joy and music of 365 children and their leaders filled the walls of RUMC during VBS! Thank you, CUC for your financial and prayer support. Please continue to keep the children’s ministry in your prayers next week as they share God’s love during Mission Week.
Thank You From Homestretch

The following letter was received by the church from Talaya Parker, Executive Director of HomeStretch regarding the gift the CUC Foundation sent to Homestretch recently:
On behalf of HomeStretch and the families we serve, we would like to thank you for your generous donation. We received your gift in the amount of $2,000.00.
Your generosity is so important to us and the homeless working families of North Fulton County. With this gift, you are helping us provide supportive housing for families in crisis, so parents and their children can stay together. But that’s not all. During their time with us, the families receive life skills education and mentoring to cultivate stability and promote future self-reliance. Through commitments such as yours, the families can focus on regaining their dignity and reaching financial independence without worrying about where they and their children will sleep each night. Providing transitional housing and supportive services is an expensive but worthwhile investment in the transformation of the lives of homeless families. HomeStretch relies on donations like yours to help fund this program. Thank you for helping us through your gift.
MUST Summer Lunches

MUST Summer Lunch Program will continue to deliver lunches each day through August 9. To sign up to pack and load lunches or to drive and ride on a delivery route, visit rumc.com/MUST. Members still wishing to make donations to the summer lunch program should make out their checks to CUC and include “MUST summer lunches” on the line for notes.
