Get Ready for the Fun of Small Group Dinners!

Your Fellowship Committee is preparing for our springtime round of small group dinners. This is a wonderful opportunity to get to know your CUC classmates at a more intimate gathering. We encourage all, but especially our newest members, to take advantage of dining at a classmate’s home with 6 or 8 other CUCers.
The host provides the main course and wine if desired. Each guest will bring a portion of the meal. Easy peasy!
The committee will start matching up guests and hosts at the end of March. Dinners will be held throughout the spring (April, May, June) as each group selects a date convenient to all.Questions? Comments? Favorite recipes? Send all to Kris or Mary. (Kris Taylor or Mary Serafina).

Continue Your Prayers for Larry Hunt
Larry had a heart procedure this morning, 2/20/12, and it was determined that a stent was not needed.
He is scheduled at 7:30 am tomorrow for surgery to open his hip, remove the debris around the joint and close the hip up. This should reduce the infection in the area so they can do the hip replacement procedure some time in the future.
Continue your prayers for Larry and Betty.
Good News on JB Hardy
Virginia reports that JB is no longer in any pain with his colon and they are hoping to get a clean bill of health from the doctor on the 29th of the month.
He is still dealing with his urinary tract problems. JB will see his Parkinson doctor on the 28th and if all goes well he will return to his medication that will help with his confusion. Virginia and JB want to continue to thank all the wonderful CUC people for their prayers and visits.
Continue your prayers for JB and Virginia.
Thank God for Sandra’s Healing
Sandra reports that she is pretty much “out of the woods” after her surgery.
She still get tired a bit, probably from her anemia, and request to remove her from the prayer list as It is just a matter of a little more time and she will be back to my usual “cranky” self.
Please continue your prayers for complete healing and for the marvelous works of healing for Sandra.
