Luke 23:32 – Two other men, both criminals, were also led out with him to be executed.
Luke 23:39-43 – One of the criminals who hung there hurled insults at him: “Aren’t you the Christ? Save yourself and us!” But the other criminal rebuked him. “Don’t you fear God?,” he said, “since you are under the same sentence? We are punished justly for we are getting what our deeds deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong.” Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.” Jesus answered him, “I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise.”

Murphy-Harpst Birthday Party
CUC sponsors a birthday party at Murphy-Harpst Children’s Center on March 25 this year.
Sundays on March 5 and March 12 seem the appropriate days to ask class members to donate funds for party expenses. Four teenagers with birthdays will be given $25 Walmart gift cards. We are told to expect a total of 50 residents and staff members who will celebrate with our cake, ice cream cups, plastic table cloths, tableware, balloons, and BINGO game prizes. Our contact person at M-H, Susan Stroup, has sent a list of what is appropriate for prizes. Best of all, those members who make the trip to Cedartown can visit with those young people and staff members. A tour of the campus will be available. See Betty Hunt
Thanks,
