How Could the Eternal God Be So Vulnerable?
Paul Beecham will be presenting our lesson this Sunday. The title of Paul’s lesson is: “How Could the Eternal God Be So Vulnerable?” The scripture references are John 1: 1, 4. We look forward to Paul leading us in our first Advent lesson for the season.

CUC members generously contributed a total of $3708 to Murphy Harpst for Christmas gifts for the 130 children there.

Remember to bring a White Elephant gift to exchange. PLEASE don’t cause yourself stress about the White Elephant! Don’t buy anything just bring something you want to regift or something you no longer want. It’s all in fun and hopefully will make you laugh! Red bags will be available if you haven’t received one or you forget it!

Open House at Wright’s
December 14 is the annual open house at the Nancy & Johnie Wright’s, 6:00-11 PM.
Please bring finger type appetizer or dessert to share. Carpool if possible and park on sidewalk side of street only.
RUMC 1st Annual Christmas Gift and Craft Show
We hear that the Christmas Gift and Craft Show this Friday and Saturday, Nov. 30- Dec. 1, 9am to 5pm in the Dod, is not to be missed! Proceeds from booth rentals, bake sale, raffle, white elephant gift cards, concessions, and tree and poinsettia sales will benefit Youth Missions.
Wednesday Night Out
Join us on December 5 for the last WNO dinner of 2018, 4:45-6:30 p.m.
Students involved in the after-school tutoring program at Vickery Mill Elementary will be singing Christmas songs at 5:30 p.m.

SEL Winter Session
Registration has begun for SEL’s Winter Session which runs from Jan. 8 – Feb. 28th on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Service of Remembrance
All are invited to gather on Tuesday, Dec. 11, at the Service of Remembrance to remember those we miss. Gather in the Chapel at 6:30 p.m., the service begins at 7 p.m.
