CUC Newsletter – May 18, 2018

Then I heard a voice telling me, “Get up, Peter. Kill and eat.” I replied, “Surely not, Lord! Nothing impure or unclean has ever entered my mouth.” The voice spoke from heaven a second time, “Do not call anything impure that God has made clean.”

Must Ministries Lunch Program

MUST SL-Graphic

Fellow CUCers, summer is here and that means Must Summer Lunches.

As of this date, we have $1350.00 in our treasury plus $500.00 from the Boswell Foundation that should enable us to make approximately 1600 lunches. Last year we made 2400 lunches and to do that again this year, we will need the funds necessary to do so! We will be passing the hat this Sunday and that will determine the number of lunches we can provide.

We will also be passing the clipboard for volunteers to make the lunches. Y’all were so great last year and we had many volunteers. It takes about 15 volunteers to put these lunches together. We know we can do it again this year! Our first date is June 12, Tuesday, 9:00 am, in the Fellowship Hall. Thank you for all you do throughout the year.

Sandy and Bill Griffin, Martha Jane Mason, Jeff and Lesleigh Coelho, Jim Boswell
