Jim  Boswell talked to UMCOR Sager Brown in Baldwin, La. on October 2nd regarding shipments of finished flood cleaning kits. He was advised they expect to ship over 50,000 completed kits by the middle of October. Most of the deliveries go in truck lots to a warehouse in Conroe, Tx. for redistribution to the needed areas in Houston.

A truck load is 1872 kits on 52 pallets. Freddie Cook, Warehouse Manager told him they would probably sent 25,000 cleaning kits to Puerto Rico in the next two weeks. Finally, based on the UMCOR estimate of $65 per kit, there will be $3.250 Million Dollars of Flood Cleaning Kits shipped by the Middle of October. GO METHODISTS  GO !

Please let RUMC know you are coming by choosing a gathering listed. Each event will include a full meal (breakfast, lunch, or dinner). There are five available dates left and it is very easy to sign up at rumc.com/gathering.
