Love Offering for RUMC Custodial Staff

CUC is taking up an offering to be shared equally with the custodial staff members who have recently been laid off. These wonderful people have served us so well and been an example of Christ’s loving service. A total of $2181 was received Sunday for the love offering.

We will again pass a basket in Sunday school this week. If writing a check, make it out to CUC with “Staff Love Offering” in the memo line. Please do not mail checks to Charlie Mason since he will be out of town. Checks may be mailed to Claudia Phelps. Thank you for your commitment to these dear people.

CUC Fall Retreat

As many of us are looking forward to the CUC fall retreat at Winshape on the campus of Berry College, Jim Ehlers is asking that we get the names of those who are planning to attend so that he can put  a down payment on the number who are going. A signup clipboard was passed on Sunday and Jim asks that anyone who plans to go notify him so he has a count.
