RUMC has partnered with Lunches for Learning, Inc., to “adopt” the Manuel Bonilla Elementary School in the remote mountain community of Las Tablas in southern Honduras.

A trip April 20-27 will build upon our previous trips in 2015 by continuing to strengthen relationships with key local church and community leaders. Our hope is to build a long term relationship with this community and help them lift themselves out of oppressive poverty while developing their spiritual health.

Projects will be discussed at our planning meetings. This is a great opportunity for first-time mission trip participants. Honduras Mission Team Information Meetings will be held Wednesday, Nov. 30, at 7:30 p.m and Monday, Dec. 5, at 6:30 p.m. in the dining room .
