There are two RUMC Senior Day Trips planned in the near future.
From Rachel Turner we have a request for van drivers for July 28 and September 29th. Let Rachel rturner@rumc.com know if you are willing and able. Lunch and admission are on us! (Drivers over 65 need a doctor’s note. This is per our insurance requirements through Michael Grant.)

The first of these trips is a day trip to the Carter Presidential Library on Thursday, July 28. This is a trip into Atlanta to visit the Jimmy Carter Library and Museum featuring photographs and memorabilia from the Carter presidency (1976 – 1981). An exact replica of the Oval Office and gifts received by the Carters are also featured. We will leave from RUMC at 9:30 a.m. and return following lunch at Fox Bros. BBQ. The September trip is a WSBTV behind-the-scenes tour on September 29th and sign-ups haven’t started for that yet. Rachel Turner is just trying to get vans reserved and drivers lined up at this time.
