Rusty Gordon brought the 20/20 Hearing Mission to our attention when he and Ann led our CUC Retreat. Jack McConnell, 14, a neighbor of Lynn and Dave Roberts whom they have known all of his life, was born deaf. He has started the 20/20 Hearing Mission to provide hearing to those who cannot hear, particularly children. His dream is to give the gift of hearing to others as he was blessed.
The McConnells have traveled to several countries as they and the team fit people with donated hearing aids. The family is going to Haiti shortly with their 20/20 Hearing Mission to provide hearing to those who cannot hear, particularly children. They are collecting used hearing aids and you may bring them to CUC to Lynn Roberts and you will get a receipt for a tax deduction.
